TiroMedia Releases New HD Player

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 09, 2009 – The TMP N3 (http://www.tiromedia.com/tmpn3.aspx) is a very compact digital signage player measuring only 5.25" x 4"! The player is 100% solid-state and contains no moving parts. It consumes very little power compared to a PC, and can fit virtually behind any display.

The TMP N3 can play directly from a local CF disk. No extra applications are required to generate content. All supported media files (as well as the optional play list)  can be directly copied to the CF disk for playback. The USB port in front of the unit can be used to automatically copy content from a USB drive to the local CF disk. This makes updating content on the player very easy and convenient.

The player can display crisp high definition images (720p and 1080i resolutions). The player supports standard definition movies which are upscated to either 720p or 1080i.

The player can also be setup to download content from a remote web site. The player can also be used with TiroMedia's CMS (http://www.tiromedia.com/cms.aspx). The CMS allows for hundreds or even thousands of players to be managed from a central location.
