Uclan and Asian School of Media Studies Will Promote Journalism

The visit of delegation from UCLAN brought two schools of journalism close to each other.ASMS will host students from UK

Asian School of Media Studies ASMS, Noida along with University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK together have decided to promote students of journalism of their schools, by signing a joint student exchange program. ”I would like to invite students from UCLAN to come and see for them selves how journalism is taught and learned in India. Delhi is the hub centre for Cultural as well as political activities.” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.

A delegation consisting of Head of School of journalism Mike Ward and Francois Nel the Diector Journalism Leaders Programme along with S.Parmeshwaram the national representative of the University visited Asian School Of Media Studies in Noida Film City .”We are impressed by the well designed syllabus and huge supporting infrastructure of ASMS which shows the seriousness of the education of the school. They are no less than any International University.” said Mike Ward.

‘’We are well equipped with Print Lab, Multimedia Lab, Editing Lab, Radio Station, A Channel, Studios, Complete Shooting Equipments, and anything to everything for the promotion of Journalism Course..” added Suman Bajaj Karla Dean ASMS. A twin certification program, UGC approved Degree is provided to the Journalism Student. The undergraduate and post graduate courses are popular all over India.

“I am ready to bear the cost of training for the students from UK to prove how well the courses are designed in ASMS.” informed Marwah. The scholarship has been announced for this first group of UCLAN students by Marwah Studios.
