New Photography and Model Community Launched

June 8, 2009 - PRLog -- United States, Built using cutting edge open-source software, WordPressMU and BuddyPress, Asgemi is packed with rich features that go above and beyond many well-known social networks: internal email, image uploads, integration with many favorite websites, private messaging, friend lists, industry themed groups, 25 MB of free storage, blogs offering 100+ themes, and much more.

Mark Beck, the founder of Asgemi, developed the website in response to a growing concern amongst artists that their work may be co-opted as a result of large social networks that quietly change their terms of service. Asgemi offers a very simple promise to their members: All blogs and work included in Asgemi are owned wholly by the individual artist.

Asgemi, currently in beta, welcomes all new members, and invites them to create a free personal blog, upload their photos, and connect with other photographers, models, and industry professionals.
