Hush Hush is a song by the Pussycat Dolls included on the first edition of their second studio album Doll Domination. Originally a slow ballad, the song was remade into an uptempo, disco-inspired dance song sampling parts of Gloria Gaynor's 1978 hit "I Will Survive", and retitled "Hush Hush; Hush Hush". The dance version was later released as a single from a reworked version of the Doll's second album, Doll Domination 2.0. Despite the original version never officially being released, the song would go on enter the Russian Airplay Chart, debuting at thirty-eight, and eventually reaching number one. It outperformed the majority of the official singles released in Russia helping the album to reach Gold status. "Hush Hush" became the fourth song by an American artist to reach number-one (the previous being Katy Perry with "Hot N Cold") in Russia. Lead and background vocals for both versions of the song are performed solely by lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. The single debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #96 last week.
