After the great success with their two apps “Stylish Girl” and “Cool Guy” which have been downloaded more then 270,000 times from the App Store, the Toronto based DDN Media Inc. has released their new iPhone application by the name of “Tickle the Beaver”.
Tickle the Beaver comes with a variety of interactive scenarios of the main character, Romeo, who is more of a virtual pet, but instead of care and food, he needs teasing, poking and tickling.
The app. offers endless fun and laughs for anyone: teenagers who love to play, people stuck in an elevator, moms waiting for the subway or professionals attending a boring meeting. Regardless the scenario, Tickle the Beaver helps its users get through it refreshed and smiling.
Tickle the Beaver encourages its users to poke, shake or scare Romeo and watch him laugh, fart, poop or swear in "beaverish". They can even get him off the phone frame and have him crash by flipping the phone upside-down.
And when the users get enough of teasing, they can create postcards with Romeo using cartoon-style thought or talk bubbles, then send them to their friends or simply post them on their Facebook wall.
The application comes loaded with backgrounds and features, however the users can also take their own photos and mix them with the other postcard elements.
“We wanted to stay away from the game category, so we came up with an app that is fun but not necessarily about scoring points. It is rather a well designed interactive time killer and can be played in a subway while listening to your favorite tunes ” says DDN Media President Dubravko Naumov
