NorthShore Solutions Group announces “Using Technology To Build Your Business,” a new series of workshops for sales professionals and small business owners. In the first course in the series, “Use Your Expertise To Generate Leads Online,” attendees will learn how to:
• Write an article that showcases the problems they can solve for potential clients;
• Structure it to be search engine friendly;
• Make it compelling to online readers with short attention spans; and
• Publish it on free article directory sites.
“I used this as part of marketing my insurance agency,” said Christy M. Perry, president of NorthShore Solutions Group. “I had calls from coast to coast asking about my insurance products. We also use it to market the training and education opportunities available through NorthShore.”
She presented on the topic at business association meetings, Rotary meetings, and other networking groups. The response was overwhelmingly positive, but people asked her to do something more in-depth. She developed the hands-on workshop for the people who wanted additional help. It is an experience, not a lecture. Attendees are asked to bring their laptops and one original article that they have written; when they leave, they will be published authors.
The next offering is June 19, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. The workshop will be at NorthShore’s main office in Lewis Center, Ohio. Lunch will be provided.
