CoreRx, with 13 employees today, has operated in Tampa since 2006. Working in close partnership with the Governor's Office of Tourism, Trade, and Economic Development (OTTED), Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI), and the Committee of One Hundred, CoreRx will create over 55 new jobs over the next three years, making it eligible for Florida's Qualified Tax Incentive program. The highly-skilled new jobs created will yield average salaries meeting or exceeding 150% of the state's average annual wages.
"We were offered several very lucrative packages to relocate our business outside of the state of Florida, but, when we weighed all of the considerations closely we chose to expand the business within Hillsborough County" said CoreRx President and CEO, Dr. Todd R. Daviau. "Over the next several months we will increase from our current 10,000 sq ft facility to approximately 80,000 sq ft within our new facility currently undergoing over $5Million in renovations.
