First Russian Seminar: Advanced membranes for petroleum industry

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 07, 2009 – At the seminar works took participated representatives of Russian Research Institutes:
-   “GosNII No 25” of the RF Ministry of Defense;
-   “NII of Storage” of the Russian Federal Reserve Agency;
-   OJSC “GIPROTRUBOPROVOD”;
Collapsible tank, tank lining, and oil spill equipment manufacturers:
-   NPF “Polytechnika”;

-   NPIK “Zirka” (Ukraine) and other companies.

For specialists of the Russian petroleum companies: OJSC “Gazprom”, OJSC “Lukoil”, OJSC “Transneft”, OJSC “Transnefeproduсt” and other was represented and demonstrate following newest technologies and equipment:
-   Collapsible Pillow Tank for crude oil, diesel and petrol store in the remote Arctic regions;
-   Magnetic Flexible Lining for corrosion protection and oil spill preventing of steel reservoirs;
-   Flexible gasholder for collect and recuperate hydrocarbons vapor within reservoir park breathing;
-   Underground gas storage in abandoned mine with flexible hose-type lining;
-   Oil boom, floating tank and other equipment with advanced composite membranes applying.

All participants of the seminar with satisfaction accept new innovative techniques with advanced membranes. This technologies allows significantly reduce hydrocarbons leakage and spills, as well as reduce cost for oil storage constriction within oilfield development at the remote Russian regions.
