Jon Robert Quinn closes one of his businesses and starts another. Dated 6/5/09.
May was an interesting month for Jon Robert Quinn Motorsports. Back in March 2009, things started to really slow down for Jon Robert Quinn's Exotic Car Parts business. The interest for parts came fewer and far between. The other businesses however have been building as the recession comes to an end. May sales overall ended strong and Ferrari Parts sales have been less and less since the start of 2009. After over a month and deliberation, JRQ announced Friday June 5th as the last day for ExotiComp.com. "We're not sure if we will relaunch ExotiComp.com, but it is an end to something I have passion in. Ferrari has been a part of my life since I was a child. Don't be surprised if in the next couple of years, I start another Ferrari Parts business" says Jon Robert Quinn.
JRQ is not completely leaving the Exotic Car Industry as his FerrariMats.com will remain open. On an up-note, when something ends, something must begin. Jon Robert Quinn has been working with a new product manufacturer that produces handles that attach to the rear of a motocross dirtbike for stunts. Animal Handles will launch late June 2009.
Helmets and Accessories have been dominant sellers since the start of the recession last fall. The motorcycle accessories businesses are very strong and still continue to grow, even as more and more people are afraid to spend money. Sales did slow down for the end on 2008 and start of 09, but from March, things have started picking back up.
