FCM is proud to host "We Are Not Alone"- The 2nd Annual Microcephaly Convention. This year we are also opening up this wonderful event to families with other neurological disorders, such as Polymicrogyria and Lissencephaly. We will have top notch doctors, geneticists, therapists, workshops, a sensory play room, food, fun, and best of all... We can all be ourselves, let our children connect, and realize WE ARE NOT ALONE!
"We Are Not Alone" will be held in Costa Mesa, California at the Hilton Orange County/ Costa Mesa. The Convention will take place June 18th - 21st 2009.
We are currently in need of volunteers in the following areas:
• Videographers
• Respite Care Providers
• Crafts and Activities Coordinators
Volunteers will be provided free meals and receive a letter of acknowledgement for their participation.
We need sponsorship and donations to secure the following items:
• Arts and craft supplies
• Gift cards to local Restaurants and Grocery Stores
• Disposable Cameras
• Children's Toys and Activities
• Auction and/or Raffle items
• Monetary donations to sponsor families unable to attend due to financial hardship
All donations are tax deductible and sponsorships over $500.00 will be acknowledged in our programs.
Any and all support helps provide these deserving children and their families the support necessary to progress, thrive, and succeed in life.
