What:
Local urban retailer DTLR (Downtown Locker Room) has partnered with Chicago Bears Israel Idonije to host a FREE one-day football camp to meet the unique needs of Chicago-area high school athletes. Through this free camp, 200 Chicagoland students (150 football and 50 cheerleading)
The day's activities, which will be lead by Idonije, other NFL players and coaches, include a warm up, followed by agility drills, offensive fundamentals and defensive fundamentals broken down by position, seven-on-seven passing drills, an overview of the college recruiting process and a question and answer session hosted by Israel Idonije and his NFL friends and teammates.

ABOUT Israel Idonije
A native of Nigeria, Isreal Idonije immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1984 and eventually graduated from the University of Manitoba. He was originally signed by the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2003 but was released due to a knee injury. He was then picked up by the Chicago Bears and sent to play for NFL Europe's Berlin Thunder, where he helped his team win a second consecutive World Bowl. In 2004 he returned to the United States to play for the Bears, and in 2007 he played in- and won- his first Super Bowl. He was also named a Special Teams Alternate for the 2008 Pro Bowl and won the JB Award for his service to the community at the NFL Players Gala that year.
