   Taconic Retreat and Conference Center presents “Adventure Camps”

     RED HOOK, NY - For two weeks in July, TRCC will host special adventure camps for children 3-11 years old.  Three camps are offered - “Adventures in Nature” teaches kids 6-11 years old to enjoy nature and gets them excited for exploring with butterflies, frogs and other fun finds. “Wacky Water Adventures” lets kids 6-11 years old soak up the sun with swimming, water balloon games, and a slip‘n slide. “Adventure Buddies” is a mini-day camp for children 3-5 years old where they can make crafts, sing, and hear Bible stories.
     “Adventures in Nature” runs from July 20-24, Monday through Friday, 9:00-4:00pm. “Wacky Water Adventures” runs from July 27-31, Monday through Friday, 9:00-4:00pm. Both weeklong camps are $200 for the first child, $175 for the second and $150 for the third. Lunch is provided.
     “Adventure Buddies” run through both weeks, Monday-Friday, 9:00-12:00pm. Registration for the first child is $100, second child is $75, and the third child is $50.
The registration deadline is July 10, 2009, and no walk-ins are permitted.
 
     Taconic Retreat and Conference Center is conveniently located on Route 199 just east of Taconic State Parkway. It is a state inspected and approved facility that has been operating quality Christian summer camp programs for 30 years.
