Pedro J. Caceres is the global vice president of operations for Lenox, a Newell Rubbermaid Company. After completing his doctoral thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility, he wrote this book to help others understand its importance in the workplace and in daily life. Born in Spain, Caceres is now an American citizen and lives with his artist wife, Luz Ferez, and their four daughters in Massachusetts. He was inspired on this subject after reading an encyclical written by Pope John Paul II, which helped the author connect his faith with concern for social issues.
