Owner Steve Thomas explains, “We looked at successful services like Netflix and we thought why not offer that same type of convenient service to gamers? Steve Thomas elaborates, “If there’s one thing I’ve always hated about renting movies and games it’s due dates and late fees. I can’t tell you how many times I was late returning a game or movie to a local video store due to traffic, weather or because it simply slipped my mind. We felt it was best to go with a business model that totally did away with due dates and late fees. Some games take longer to beat than others so why not allow people to keep them until they are finished with the game. That approach just makes more sense to us.” Gamers apparently agree, as business for Rent Games Now has been steady since their launch.
