The focus for many will be taking place June 13-14 from 10am to 5pm at Ethel Jacobsen Field, in Ship Bottom. The Jersey Shore Fine Arts Festival, hosted by the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, brings over 100 local and nationally recognized artists to LBI for this open air art market. The promoter of this event, Paragon Art Events, is the producer of the prestigious Cape Cod, East Hampton and Montauk Art Festivals, promises something for everyone during this free two day show.
The chamber has also collaborated with member organizations to promote the Eco Tour/Treasure Hunt June 13. This self guided event, starts in Loveladies at the LBI Foundation of the Arts and Sciences and promises a fun afternoon for young and old kids. Find giant clams, museums, see baby oyster growing, tour a working seaport in Barnegat Light.
