Work began on the new phases in May 2009 and typically we expect completion of these units within 12-18 months. Phase 1 was recently completed and handed over to buyers while the 18 hole golf course is now well advanced and expected to be playable this year.
It is encouraging to see construction on the Polaris World resorts despite the recent credit crisis. Polaris World recently restructured their business and the ability to now begin such building work shows promising signs for the years ahead.
Construction is currently underway at Condado de Alhama for the town centre which is well advanced and expected to be complete this summer. The Melvin apartments at Mar Menor are also close to completion and expected to be handed over to clients soon.
