After an eight month qualifying period and rigorous company audit, Detector Dogs Australia (DDA) was awarded the Explosives Detection contract on behalf of the Port of Melbourne Corporation. Our Strategic partner being ISS Security Pty Ltd.

This new project involves multiple detection dogs and handlers (K-9 teams), working alongside ISS security personnel, performing various screening roles resulting in a higher level of security to staff, contractors, site visitors and international cruise ship passengers.
“I am pleased that we were able to demonstrate our commitment and experience ” Kris said.
The contract commences on the 02 November 2008 after the company successfully conducts site reviews, risk assessments and staff familiarisation training.
“The contract is being managed by a qualified team of Risk Prevention Officers headed up by Paulene Sullivan, DDA’s Security Risk Manager and Tonia Florou our Senior Contracts Accounts Managers.
Paulene in particular is in charge and oversees our other major clients operations throughout Melbourne and Sydney. I am confident that through our management, our staff performance and ISS’s facilitation, we will surpass Port of Melbourne Corporation’
