The Californian foundation, this week placed artwork by internationally acclaimed artist, Maya Green, in a medical facility where it is hoped it will bring uplift and healing to those who view it.
The foundation, which was inspired by Maya Green’s collection ‘The Elements of Bright Sun’, is committed to placing Giclée prints of donated artwork in hospitals, clinics and health centers. The original donated paintings are auctioned off on the foundation’s website http://www.teobs.com, and the proceeds used to produce the Giclées.
TEOBS foundation works on the principle that the sun is the energy and light of the universe, and its light and positivity can be transmitted to people through color. Their new program ‘The Elements of Bright Sun’ aims to bring the energy of color to people in need of uplift and light; through art.

She says: “Art like Maya Green’s has incredible power and energy. The effect it has on sick people is tangible and immediate; their bodies respond to the positive color energy that it is Maya’s great gift to capture. With her donations to TEOBS she is generously giving health and wellbeing to so many through her work.”
The program ‘The Elements of Bright Sun’ will no doubt enhance the lives of many people through its work.
