Coral Ridge Ministries Condemns Murder of George Tiller
Fort Lauderdale, FL (June 1, 2009)--Coral Ridge Ministries categorically condemns the murder yesterday of abortionist George Tiller inside a church. This senseless and evil act should be investigated and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Those who take up arms to advance their cause have no place in the pro-life movement or civil society. There is no such thing as “justifiable homicide,” the oxymoronic excuse offered by those who rationalize violence in a horribly misguided effort to oppose abortion. Murder is always a violation of God’s law. It is never pro-life.
Our prayers and sympathies are with the family and friends of Dr. Tiller as they grieve his death. May they know the grace and peace afforded by Christ alone at this time of great sadness and loss.
