Chocolate Fudge Event World Record Attempt, Pre Sales Going On Now

May 31, 2009 - PRLog -- My name is Chef Nick; I am a professor of culinary at Lansing Community College. We are having a huge event on June 29th, 2009 at LCC West Campus off I-496 and Mt. Hope road. We are attempting to break the world record for the largest slab of chocolate fudge, the current record is 5050 pounds, and I intend to shatter that record. Proceeds from the sale of the fudge go to benefit gateway/crossroads community services for our youth and homeless, as well as scholarships to be set up at Lansing Community College for kids that cannot afford to go to college, also bring into Lansing football and track mini-sports camps for the kids, working with big named athletes to be held on June 30th and July 1st.

There will be a great deal of both national and local media coverage along with city officials such as the mayor, governor and famous athletes at the event as well, such as Olympic gold metal athletes, NFL players, Dirty Jobs TV show, Discovery channel, TV hit show-Survivor star, all signing autographs and photo shoots for the kids.
