This can never be denied— the current Global Financial Crisis is now taking its toll among fresh College Graduates through increased challenges in searching and landing jobs that suit their skills. This trend is common amongst almost all countries; not sparing our own.

The transition from the fun of college life to the difficulties of job searching is already a challenge for fresh graduates. This challenge appears to have doubled because of the current financial status in our country. Hearing stories such as a disappointed graduate going home from a job hunt empty handed or a graduate bagging an entry level job that does not pay well are no longer surprising. However, these frustrations are now seemingly amplified by lots of other factors such parents’ expectations, peer pressure and even student debt which may eventually lead to depression.

According to an online article, “Seven out of ten youths polled believed work experience would be more important than academic qualifications when looking for work. In most tough jobs, market experience is being seen as essential.” This only proves how this current crisis negatively affects a graduate’s self-esteem. In fact, from the same article we quote, “More than 50 percent of 16-25 year olds polled thought that they would be in this situation”. It appears that pessimism is now on its way to the hearts of these supposedly excited and hopeful fresh graduates.

The government is not taking a rest on this issue though. Several efforts have been done to address this unemployment problem. However, the government’s helping hand alone would not make a big difference. Fresh graduates facing these difficult challenges are in need of a support group who would be willing to listen and offer relevant advices.

Promises for Graduates by Inspirio, is a great and handy companion for a challenged fresh graduate. The support group would not always be available but God always is and these graduates need to be always be reminded of that. God offers new direction, peace and wisdom as they travel through this rough road. NIV Bible has once again proven its value for people of all ages as this collection of inspirational verses were taken it.
