YAKITORI 39 252 DeGraw Avenue, Teaneck, NJ 07666 Tel: (201) 692-0700 www.yakitori39.com TEANECK, NJ - MAY 30, 2009 - David Nachman and David Sindell, are proud to announce the opening of Yakitori 39 at 252 DeGraw Avenue, in Teaneck, NJ. Yakitori (焼き鳥 (やきとり ), grilled chicken, is a Japanese type of skewered chicken. It is made from several bite-sized pieces of chicken meat, or chicken offal, skewered on a bamboo skewer and barbecued, over charcoal. Yakitori 39 uses the freshest free range chicken in our yakitori and of course, as usual, our Chef, Yoshikatsu Yamashita, has a special twist, duck breast yakitori, lamb chop yakitori, and an wide array of appetizers including cold tofu dishes, Japanese style salads, deep fried Japanese chicken wings (tebasaki) and some of his famous French desserts. Yakitori 39 features a premium sake and shochu list, as well as a balanced assortment of wines. Diners ordering yakitori will have a choice of having it served with salt or with tare sauce, which is traditionally made up of mirin, sake, soy sauce and sugar, but in our version, you will also taste a hint of bordelaise wine sauce as well. The sauce is applied to the skewered meat and is grilled until delicately cooked and is served with the tare sauce as a dip. So why 39? In Japanese, 39 is pronounced — “san kyu”... which is the way Japanese say “thank you” and we would like to thank you, the customer, for trying our new and innovative Japanese cuisine. We are considering, for a limited time, offering a special thank you to our customers who dine with us on Sundays, ALL YOU CAN EAT Yakitori, miso soup, and white rice for $23.90 per person. YAKITORI 39 ("san kyu") - OPEN TUESDAY through SUNDAY, for Dinner, 252 DeGraw Avenue, in Teaneck, NJ Tel: (201) 692-0700 or check us out on the web at www.yakitori39.com # # # Yakitori 39 at 252 Degraw Avenue, in Teaneck, NJ.
