FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 29, 2009 -
After his final Tonight Show tonight, its star, comic Jay Leno can take comfort that he’s banked all that talk show income for 17 years straight.  Jay keeps his edge and stays sharp working in comedy clubs most nights – the Tonight Show has been recorded in the afternoon since Johnny Carson had it.   Jay uses the nightclub income to pay his nut.  Funny man, serious about money.  Which brings us to Donald Trump, who’s always serious.  He’s landed in yet another sand trap on Fort Lauderdale Beach.  His second in two years and the news is full of it.   Less is known about the first sand trap, the Trump Las Olas, where he lost to a group of activists led by mystery writer C.J. Beck.  And until now that story has remained a mystery.  Beck’s latest crime thriller SIXTEEN STORIES, NO PETS, was inspired in part by a ten year battle to keep Donald Trump and his predecessors from stealing their condo’s ocean view.   Since the group was 100% successful, the book might be worth taking a look to crib the condo survival lessons they learned.  Even if someone like Trump isn’t coming your way, or you don’t live in a condo, you end up with a great C.J. Beck mystery that reveals the funny side of deadly serious.
