Ideal DVD Software has just released a new official version of Ideal DVD to iPod Converter, 2.5.0.

In this version, they improved the decryption function. You may use this version to rip the new released DVDs, such as "New in town, "My Bloody Valentine", "Spirit", "Paul Blart Mall Cop", "Transporter 3", "Bedtime stories", "Twilight", "Doubt Us", and "Bolt" etc. Users can download this version from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/dvd-to-ipod.htm to try. But these DVDs may have other different editions which they haven't met, if you still have any troubles to rip them, please click "Menu"->"Export Ifo files" to export all the ifo files of the original DVD, then attach the file in your email. They'll analyze it and help you as soon as possible.

They also added a new feature in this version, which support ripping RMVB and RM formats to iPod. Because only RealPlayer can play the two formats, but RealPlayer is a little big. In order to save your computer space, they suggest users just download the RealCodec from http://www.idealdvdcopy.com/download.htm and install it, then you can play these formats just with Windows Media Player and Ideal DVD to iPod Converter can work with this codec either.

They also improved Ideal DVD to iPod Converter to take full advantage of the multi-core processor. Now, the ripping speed can be improved at least 20%. Users who have multi-core processor can compare this version to the old version to see the effects.
