MEXICO CITY, June 1, 2009 — tbmin Beverages announced that it is planning to enter the U.S. glass bottle manufacturing market this summer, and intends to sell its environmentally friendly bottles to U.S. wineries. The company manufactures eco-friendly glass wine bottles and currently sells its products to the liquor industry in Mexico.
tbmin is able to produce one million bottles per week using a 100% green manufacturing process. CEO Luis Felipe Trevino said, “The machines we use to produce our glass bottles are configured specifically to reduce harmful emissions. Our bottles are lighter than other bottles and they are reusable and recyclable. In addition, our bottles are made from completely recycled raw materials and then packed in 100% recycled cartons” with 12 bottles in each box. Unlike plastic or carton containers, glass bottles can be reused almost immediately;
Mr. Trevino said the company’s goal is to sell 3.5 million bottles in 2009, and also create strategic alliances with regional distributors. Currently, the company has two bottle designs and plans to offer four unique designs by 2010.
tbmin Beverages is an innovative green manufacturing company with 30 employees on staff. The company firmly believes it is important for people to consume eco-friendly products made with green supplies and that new technologies such as tbmin’s glass bottles will help preserve the environment.
