Whether it’s a stay-at-home Mom looking to keep in touch with her friends, a charitable organization wanting to spread the word of their cause or a large corporation with the desire to increase profits, everyone wants more Twitter followers.
While it’s easy for those with a name (think one Mr. Ashton Kutcher) to achieve a massive following in no time, the simple fact of the matter is that for everyone, it’s not quite so simple.
That is, until now.
Social media marketing company uSocial.net have recently launched a new suite of products for Twitter including a service that guarantees users between 1,000 and 100,000 followers – of course, all for a price.
“As soon as we ourselves got onto Twitter, which I’ll admit was less than a month ago, we immediately began to see the value in what services for the site could be worth,” said Serena Adamson, uSocial’s marketing manager. “While we knew we could charge big prices for such services, especially marketing them to large companies, we wanted them to be available to the average person as well.”
With that philosophy in mind the company created a price structure that they claim is within the reach of just about anyone. Prices start at under $100, with even fairly large packages of 10,000 followers costing less than $500.
And while the services have only been available for a short time, uSocial say they’ve been finding it hard to keep up with demand.
“Everyone wants to know how to get more Twitter followers,” said Adamson. “We’ve taken the thought process and effort out of it for our clients and it seems that’s exactly what people have been looking for.”
uSocial launched in December of 2008 and reached a certain level of infamy online as the company who received a Cease & Desist order from Digg.com’s lawyers shortly after announcing their service which allowed clients to buy votes on the social boomarking site.
