Fujii’s second key to help you identify a dangerous fad diet is fasting. “A ‘lose weight fast’ program that advises extended periods of fasting should be avoided at all costs.” Fujii explains, "Very simply, not eating will wreak havoc on a anyone's metabolism. Not eating is potentially the worst thing someone looking to lose weight fast should do."
“Let common sense prevail when it comes to investigating a fad diet. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is,” Fujii adds as his third and final tip.
