A BROCHURE is now available that highlights all the entertainment people can look forward to at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall this summer.
The brochure outlines events taking place from June to September that feature performances from some of the finest musicians on the planet.
Highlights include music from the world of opera and operetta in June when the Swansea Philharmonic Choir and the Chamber Orchestra of Wales perform in an Opera Gala on June 13 at 7.30pm.
The Swansea Community Orchestra is celebrating its tenth anniversary on June 29 at 7.30pm in a concert conducted by Andrew George and Paul Lewis with soloist Robert Marshall also on hand.
An additional event sees Madeiran sunshine coming to Swansea in July along with music and Neapolitan song when the Madeira Mandolin Orchestra returns to the UK for the first time since 2002.
Cllr Graham Thomas, Swansea Council's Cabinet Member for Culture, Recreation and Tourism, said: "A huge variety of events and attractions is organised in Swansea both in the summer and throughout the rest of the year to ensure all interests are met.
"The acoustics at the Brangwyn Hall are terrific and this generates a wonderful environment for live music and a terrific atmosphere.
"These concerts and performances tend to be hugely popular, so I'd urge anyone interested to get hold of a brochure as soon as possible and book their tickets in advance."
