Celergy Networks Announces Appointment of Chief Technical Officer

Celergy Networks, a leading national contractor providing infrastructure engineering and network installation for voice/data, video, security and wireless solutions, announced today the appointment of Gary Hawkins, Ph.D. as Chief Technical Officer.
 
May 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Celergy Networks, a leading national contractor providing infrastructure engineering and network installation for voice, data, video, security and wireless solutions, announced today the appointment of Gary J. Hawkins, Ph.D. as Chief Technical Officer.  

The appointment of Dr. Hawkins will help facilitate the expansion of Celergy Networks wireless business interests beyond enterprise solutions into new areas including the deployment of smart grid technologies and wide area wireless networks.

Prior to joining Celergy Networks, Dr. Hawkins was Vice President Product Management – Infrastructure with NextWave Wireless.  While at NextWave Wireless, Dr. Hawkins was the lead point of contact between NextWave and a number of third party infrastructure vendors, including Huawei Technologies, which were implementing NextWave’s unique WiMAX MXtv technology.  Prior to NextWave, Dr. Hawkins has held senior positions with a number of companies including Littlefeet, LCC International and Orange.  Dr. Hawkins received his Ph.D. in Satellite Communications from the University of Bristol, England and his BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath, England.
