The Document management portion of MIE Exchange allows parts to be created as item masters which then have attachments. Buyers can publish their parts with all their associated blueprints and documentation required to manufacturer the part. The RFQ is issued by the buyer to each designated supplier. Each buyer has the opportunity to bid or no-bid the RFQ and the buyer is notified immediately of the status change. The purchase order enables easy creation of purchase orders to distribute to your suppliers. Suppliers pick up purchase orders from MIE Exchange using the easy to use interface. Suppliers can either accept or decline the purchase order which gives immediate feedback to the buyer. MIE Exchange offers an Open API using web services in order for external application to communicate directly with MIE Exchange. MIE Exchange offers an API to Import/Export Parts and Catalogs.
