Norcal Sual Sport is based in Redding Ca and has had several successful seasons of holding group rides for 50 to 100 riders throughout Shasta, Trinity, Modoc, Klamath, Siskiyou and Tehama counties. For the 2009 season, Norcal Dual Sport will be pulling out all the stops and holding four events at the Mount Shasta Board and Ski Park. NCDS has recieved and AMA promoters sanction for recreational Dual Sport Events and will be participating in the 2009 AMA KTM National Dual Sport Series and also The 2009 AMA BMW Naitonal Adventure Series.
The Mount Shasta Board and Ski Park, located in McCloud CA is the perfect base of operations for Adventure riding and Dual Sport enthusiasts. Conveiniently located 10 miles east of Interstate 5, Mount Shasta is 3 hours North of Sacramento and just 4 1/2 hours Norht of the San Francisco Bay. Mount Shasta affords the Adventure Rider access to the far reaches of the Klamath, Modoc and Shasta Trinity National Forest and it's incredibly diverse regions, geography and climes. In one day a rider can climb mountain passes and ridges affording incredible views of snow capped ranges and then descend into the high desert area of Lava Beds National Park, Glass Mountains and the high rolling ranges of the Eastern Modoc Territory.
Entry for the AMA national events is an affordable $80 and includes lunch both days, navigational roll charts or GPS files and an event T Shirt.
