Demic & Bawsten have made waves during their short time in the music industry. They were booted from the Monster Jam tour in March 2009, after performing a song dedicated to Barack Obama in front of an audience of 20,000 republicans at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD. They also received praises for their performances in front of the White House during Inauguration weekend. They are one of the only hip hop groups, to have such amazing accomplishments within their first year of recording.
After the success of their lead single "Jumpin," they look to hit the Billboard charts with "Passion." "Passion"
is a high energy record with an eerie sounding synth and a kick drum that can cause category five earthquake, if played to close to Los Angeles. Along with Kanye West, Demic & Bawsten acquired the services of DJ Wiplash, a nationally touring dj from Orlando, FL who adds scratches that compliment any true hip hop track. The record has some lyrical highlights, in the second verse Bawsten brags "I'ma bag me a cougar/ and slide off slow in the Lex like Lugar/." Time will tell if "Passion" lives up to Demic & Bawsten's previous successes. To preview Demic & Bawsten's Passion featuring Kanye West, please visit
