It's a Battle of the Commonwealth...Sun. July 5 in Whitby, Ontario!

PR Log (Press Release) – May 25, 2009 – The Apocalypse Wrestling Federation championship will be on the line in the AWF Action Centre in Whitby, Ontario on Sun. July 5th as part of the AWF's star studded Shockwave show!

In his first title defence the egotistical aristocrat Zaquary Springate III will
defend his championship claim against an AWF original, and the man responsible for pinning Mr. Springate for the three count in a tag team match held at AWF Super Scrap, the old school Canadian superhero, Danny Dynamic!

Originally hailing from London, England Springate headed to America to learn the art of professional wrestling from the legendary Canadian grappler Killer Kowalski. Whereas Dynamic hails from Toronto, Canada and received his schooling in the mat sport at the world famous Sully's Gym under the direct tutelage of AWF president/ wrestling trainer Ron Hutchison.

Their July 5th match up is a match that many AWF wrestling fans are looking forward to. Dynamic, coming off of a 6 year sabatical from the pro mat wars definitely excited the AWF faithful in attendance at the Action Centre in May, when he turned in a stellar performance by not only scoring the winning pinfall for his team (on a suprised Zaquary Springate no less!) but being one of the final participants in May's Super Scrap Battle Royal held in May.

Can history repeat itself on July 5th? Will Dynamic be able to score yet
another pinfall on Springate when the AWF Championship is at stake?

After his performance in May many are saying YES!!!

There is only one sure fire way to find out and that is to be in the AWF Action Centre to see it unfold LIVE when the Apocalypse Wrestling Federation presents AWF SHOCKWAVE featuring the AWF debut of Zero One Japan Pro-Wrestling star Shockwave the Robot, the fabulous lady wrestlers in action plus an all star card!!!

AWF SHOCKWAVE takes place on Sunday afternoon July 5 @ 2 PM inside the AWF Action Centre (Class Act Dinner Theatre, 104 Consumers Drive) in Whitby, Ontario.

The AWF Action Centre is only 30 minutes from downtown Toronto and is located just off of Highway 401! Parking at the air conditioned Action Centre is free. For fans wishing to take the Go Train to the Action Centre the Whitby Go Train station is also just minutes away!
