Mobile, still a driving growth force …
Following the rest of the world, but even more dynamic, mobile telephony drove the market with more than 38 million new subscribers in 2008. On December, 31st, 2008, the total number of customers to mobile services was 303 million, versus 264 million at end 2007.

Overall, QUANTIFICA estimates telecommunication revenues in the region at $ 50 billion dollars for the year 2007, an increase of 13.7% over the previous year.
