SHANGHAI, China—As part of its ongoing commitment to the community, Transhorsa Translation Ltd. announced today that it will provide its entire suite of services at cost price to all non-profit organizations (NPOs).  As an innovative provider of language conversion solutions, Transhorsa’s services include multi-lingual native translation, proofreading, desktop publishing and localization services.  More recently, the professional language house has also expanded its offerings to include video services encompassing original oral translation, subtitling, dubbing, high definition format conversion and downsizing of video files.

“Transhorsa Translation stands by the mantra of giving back to the society and we are dedicated to doing our part in the philanthropic world,” said a spokesman for Transhorsa Translation.   “As non-profit organizations undertake the noble responsibility of creating benefits for their target group at minimum compensation to its members, we hope to lighten their load by offering them services at cost prices.”  Transhorsa Translation hopes that such small gestures can help NPOs maximize their dollar, particularly in the current ailing economic climate.

Amongst the first NPOs to benefit from Transhorsa’s move is the Research Councils UK (RCUK) office in China.  Launched in Oct 2007, the RCUK China office aims to align the different research systems in the UK and China so that various joint UK-China research activities can readily be developed and selected for funding.

“Each of the seven UK Research Councils produces its own print and online publications which aim to inform the public on a wide range of subjects including the Natural Environment, Arts and Humanities, as well as Biological, Physical, Economical and Social Sciences.  We are excited to offer our non-profit services to the RCUK China office so that their meaningful work can be better understood locally,” the spokesman for Transhorsa Translation continued.  “More importantly, our collaboration with the RCUK is just the beginning.  We hope to lead the way in giving back to the community by working with more philanthropic societies in the future.”

Transhorsa Translation currently operates in key cities of Europe and Asia.  To find out how we could help your NPO stretch its dollar, please visit www.transhorsa.org.
