Innovative Service Offers Satisfaction For Newlyweds

Really Bricking It provide a number of services to help the Groom, Best Man, Father of the Bride and even the Bride herself ‘stand up and say a few words’ with confidence.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 22, 2009 -
Standing in front of a crowded room and speaking is a nerve-racking prospect for most men. Doing it on your wedding day is truly terrifying. However, like taking out the bin or carving a Sunday roast, it is widely assumed that men somehow know how to do it.

“If you make a mess of carving a roast it doesn’t really matter”, says Chris Bell, the man behind Really Bricking It. “You can try again next week. Making a wedding speech is an entirely different matter. There are no second chances.”

Really Bricking It provide a number of services to help the Groom, Best Man, Father of the Bride and even the Bride herself ‘stand up and say a few words’ with confidence. From one-to-one coaching sessions to help plan the speech and organise the content, to relaxed and informal sessions to share ideas and speak with others going through the same ordeal.
“We will be hosting regular events in Sheffield to give people the chance to come along and gain some valuable experience”, Bell went on. “These sessions are great for testing material and swapping ideas as well as giving people the confidence to speak on the big day itself”.
The next event will be at the Forum on Devonshire Street on Saturday the 6th of June. Anyone interested in coming along should get in touch for more details.

Chris Bell has many years experience coaching public speakers in a corporate setting, but having been a groom and a best man himself, knows how scary speaking at a wedding is.
He is available for comment or interview and can be contacted by ay of the means listed below.

Our aim is to make your wedding speech an enjoyable part of a memorable day.

There are three traditional speeches, given by the Father of the Bride, Best Man and the Groom (usually in that order). You will be able to recognise any one of these three on a wedding day by the ashen expression they wear and the amount of Dutch Courage they seruptitiously slip down their throats.

More and more, brides and maids of honour are also standing up to offer a few words.

For about the price of a bridal up-do we can help alleviate everyone’s nerves, coach on the content and ensure that the only part of the day the men get to organise goes off swimmingly.

We offer one-to-one coaching to fit around even the most hectic lifestyle and we also organise ‘Speak up!’ events where participants can build their confidence, test their material and share ideas with others going through the same experience.
