National Corporate Housing is Giving Back

June 8, 2009 - PRLog -- National Corporate Housing, a leader in corporate and serviced apartments, is giving back and supporting a cause that is very important to each associate.  The company has aligned its community service outreach efforts with The Global Race for the Cure.  Every National Corporate Housing branch office will participate by walking or running in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure this year.

"Each of us has either been impacted personally or we know of someone that has had to fight this horrible disease.  We want to continually show our support," stated Cinda Rodewald, Vice President of National who runs each year in the Race for The Cure.

National Corporate Housing and its affiliated company, National Realty Partners joined the fight against breast cancer recently.  Last Saturday June 6, 2009, 20 members participated in the Global Race for the Cure in Washington DC.  There were over 45,000 walkers that participated including 3600 breast cancer survivors.

The company is celebrating their 10-year anniversary this summer, and giving back is not something new to them.  Tom Atchison, President of National Corporate Housing, encourages and supports his team to find ways to give back to the community.  “In 1999 when we started National, one of the most important beliefs was to foster a “charitable mindset”.  We believe in giving of ourselves for the betterment of the communities within which we live and work”.   The Global Race for the Cure is an appropriate charity outreach, as National has recently expanded its business internationally.

In addition to the Race for the Cure, National employees give both time and resources throughout the year to such additional causes as “Adopt a Family”, The Ronald McDonald House, Kids in Distress, Alzheimer’s walk, AIDS Walk, local food drives and the Toys for Tots campaign.
