Memorial search: Is there a "nano-thermite at WTC on 9/11" connection to U.S. economic foreclosure?

Let us assume for the moment that the latest published scientific research is correct--that WTC's were brought down by thermite...then:

NANO-THERMITE CAUSED WTC COLLAPSES on 9/11 -- according to the published scientific paper by Harrit et al:

This paper provokes the questions: WHY bring down the WTC skyscrapers? —WHAT was the motive? WHO conceived of the plan to detonate WTC’s on 9/11? ... And WHAT was the anticipated impact upon the U.S. economy?

Elsinore Times interviewed the author of the book “HILLARY” (ISBN#0978602404 ) Dr. Thomas A. Moore, who said, "The HILLARY book  traces the history of U.S. government subterfuge where the public is deceived for the sake of a “greater cause” beginning with the secret nuclear explosion at Port Chicago, CA in 1944, to the discovery in the aftermath of the 1994 Northridge L.A. earthquake that Lincoln welds used in most U.S. high-rise are faulty (so many steel high-rise buildings are obsolete/dangerous -- up to the unbelievable official NIST explanations for the three WTC skyscraper collapses on 9/11. I have opened a forum at http://www.alpharpublish.com/index.php?page_id=336 to present and discuss information and hypotheses regarding who, how and why the WTC’s were collapsed? —and is there any substantial connection to an unlikely bargain plan for elements of the future U.S. economy... and avoidance of unemployment, bankruptcy, subservience to China, and foreclosures on the American economic system--or was it just a harebrained idea conceived by a bunch of good old Amazon boys acting out their literotica and selling the country on ebay?

The critical events surrounding 9/11 and the economic collapse include:

1. President Clinton had the economy running at a running pitch from 1992 until 2000, effectively milking the economic cow almost dry by the year 2000...also at that time the 1994 LA-Norhridge earthquake demolished the confidence of many structural engineers in our stock of high-rise steel buildings. 3. The collapse of three high-rise WTC buildings—Presumably the 9/11  terrorists set us at war with Iraq and Afghanistan and lead President Bush to lower interest rates to such low levels that a rush to buy real estate followed... and we also obtained valuable information about the demolition of "obsolete" high-rise steel buildings.
4. Corruption and incompetence amongst bankers and business leaders led to a collapse of credit markets and foreclosures on over-extended borrowers.
5. President Obama elected in 2008 and surely recognized that firstly, China can bankrupt us; and secondly that maybe pollution control and management of U.S. interest rates is probably our best option to resuscitate the economy.

7. There is a media sense that rigorous investigation of WHY is resisted at this time by the American people (and therefore American journalists)--who perhaps feel that victims have suffered enough emotional trauma… understandably.

DEBUNKER is clearly a professional scientist who has exerted a great deal of energy to debunk any suggestion that any form of thermite might be involved.
This is claimed to be a free site yet says:

Why so much energy for the cause of vilifying Professor Jones and other scientists who have been suspicious of the NIST storyline—a suspicion that has been demonstrated to be merited—the presentation of the scientists, Harrit et al, investigating the possibility of a thermite-like product involved in the WTC collapses on 9/11have shown valid reason for suspicion—and should not be regarded as… “Looney-tunes who should be in a psychiatric hospital.” It is important to be respectful of the arguments of others as the search for truth continues... yet recently there has been muzzling and censorship of U.S. journalists--according to usually reliable sources--including subject journalists."
