PeLi Teas Again Big Winner at 2009 World Tea Expo

Beverly Hills, California - PeLi Teas has again emerged a big winner at the World Tea Championships™ recently held at the World Tea Expo™ in Las Vegas, Nevada.  PeLi’s teas were judged best in four categories, with an additional five teas ranked as finalists in their categories.  In 2008, PeLi Teas had three best teas and eight others ranked as finalists.

PeLi Teas received 1st Place Awards for:

•   Zhenghe Golden Monkey in the Black Tea Category
•   1996 Pu’er Special loose tea in the Puer Category
•   Dian Hong in the Yunnan Category and
•   Fenghuang Dancong (Super) in the Dark Oolong Category

In addition, PeLi 2008 Autumn Ti Quan Yin was runner-up in the Green Oolong Category and PeLi 2008 Keemun Hao Ya Black Tea was the runner-up in the Keemun Category. Its Zhejiang Needle Green Tea, Keemun Needle Black Tea, and Fenghuang Dancong (Special) Oolong Tea each finished in 3rd place.

PeLi’s 2009 results re-enforce PeLi’s championship performance at the 2008 World Tea Championship™ where it won Best Tea for:

•   Liu An Gua Pian in the Super Green Tea Category
•   Zhejiang Green Tea in the China Style Green Tea Category; and
•   2007 Autumn Ti Quan Yin in the Green Oolong Category.
