ABILENE, TEXAS—Biomass Magazine today profiled the new Advanced Trailer for Biomass in a three-page feature article and praised it as a breakthrough for the biomass industry. The article is a lead story in the June edition of the magazine.
“One of the problems plaguing the biomass industry is the efficient transport and storage of mountains of biomass” wrote Rona Johnson, the editor of Biomass Magazine. “In situations where wood chips are used the product may be handled several times before it reaches its final destination. Randy Hill, president of APT Advanced Trailer and Equipment LP and the University of Idaho are betting they can solve this issue by using Advanced Trailer’s agricultural drying trailers. Although prior testing has proven Hill’s trailers can do the job, he wants to be able to show biomass processors the benefits of using his trailers. To do this, he is providing a grant and the use of a trailer to the university so it can be tested in a real-world situation.”
“This feature in Biomass Magazine on our trailer shows that the momentum is picking up,” Randy Hill said. “Our trailers are the perfect solution to the storage and transportation challenges of wood chips. Our trailers are going to revolutionize the biomass industry.”
