Clinical eNotes PN, LLC announced today the launch of a new feature to its EMR and clinical documentation system - the Clinical eNotes SmartClient - a mobile application allowing point-of-care clinical documentation for clinicians in the field. The SmartClient feature allows hospice and palliative care physicians, nurses, chaplains, and social workers to access their patients' medical records off-site in locations previously incompatible with electronic medical records. A hospice or palliative care clinician may now chart and reference patient data in any location, regardless of internet or network access.
"Clinical eNotes is the clear leader of clinical documentation needs for hospice and palliative care settings. We are continually adding to our EMR offering to improve clinical and administrative usability," said Dr. Tom Sullivan, President of Clinical eNotes. "Hospices and palliative care clinicians need a comprehensive system that is designed to meet their needs and we think Clinical eNotes with the addition of the new SmartClient feature says it all."
Clinical eNotes sees the greatest use of the SmartClient from hospice nurses and social workers, who often spend extended periods off-site visiting patient homes and related facilities.
