Profitable organizations have known the power of social media marketing for a long time now, though despite the increasing popularity of Twitter, many have been slow to create accounts and begin marketing on the site.
However, according to a recent study on Twitter marketing conducted by web traffic company uSocial.net this is changing rapidly.
“We asked a majority of our clients how many of them marketed via Twitter in late December and less than 20% said at that point they had,” said uSocial representative Serena Adamson. “This figure has now jumped to over 65% when we asked again early this month, which is an immense change in such a short amount of time.”
uSocial went on to speak about how businesses are finding Twitter an easy tool in which to market as it allows them the ability to continually and repeatedly promote their products and services to a large audience.
“The only problem with Twitter is getting a large enough follower base in which to market to,” continued Adamson. “However with the launch of our new service that allows clients to buy Twitter followers through us, this has changed quite fast. The response has thus far been phenomenal.”
uSocial recently launched two new services related to marketing on Twitter which benefit their clients in terms of purchasing packages of followers, or marketing to uSocial’s list of followers.
“The only problem we’ve had thus far is making sure our server doesn’t crash with the response we get on a daily basis!” Spoke Adamson regarding the popularity of the new products.
