The Oaks is currently owned by Harry Shehan, a retired Bostoner who fell in love with the quaint little town of Oxford and the beauty of Maryland’s eastern shore. Harry knows Doug for who he really is and won’t see him turn what he’s built into a corporate yuppie business center, and when he refuses to sell, Doug steps up his game. But a life altering experience causes Doug to reconsider his actions and look more contemplatively at is life. Will he be able to grow and become the good man that lurks just beneath his reptilian surface, or will he remain the cold calculating greedy brat he’s always been?
