While many industries are suffering from the financial melt down, the American school system is finally getting some much needed funding from the federal stimulus package. Although many improvements will be made to the infrastructure of the education system, one area of major improvement is computer labs and the components within.
"We've seen a large surge in orders from schools across the nation that are in the process of updating and building new classrooms and labs", said Chris Stormer, Chief Operations Officer at Versa Tables. "Versa Tables has always had a large customer base within the education system, but this boost can be partially attributed to the federal stimulus money. When schools are in need of computer desks, tables, carts, and accessories, they naturally come to us because we have the most durable, practical products. Our entire line can be found online at http://www.VersaTables.com and a lot of universities, public schools, community colleges, and everything in between are catching on."
Computer furniture is just one upgrade to the outdated computer labs and classrooms. Major computer, software, hardware, and training upgrades are also in the works. The majority of the stimulus money is set to be spent before the end of 2010 so companies serving that industry, such as Versa Tables, can be expecting a nice boost in the coming months!
