The construction is simple and along the lines of traditional memory foam mattresses. It all starts with a 6" AcellaFlex eco-friendly foam base laminated to 2" of Latex International's Talalay latex. The base foam is medium/firm but the topper is more like a pillowtop feel being soft. Overall this model will accommodate a variety of sleeping styles and body weights. Also included is a beatiful all natural Bamboo quilted zippered cover with real Joma Wool. Bamboo is 100% biodegradable, naturally resists bacteria, fungi and dust mites while containing no harmful chemicals.
Bamboo fabric is known to be 4 time more moisture absorbent than cotton for a drier more comfortable sleep. Bamboo is also softer than cotton yet stronger than synthetic fibers. This mattress leaves one of the lowest carbon footprints of any mattress made in the USA. It is certified by the International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile Ecology to be free of harmful substances.
