Global online talent community, TalentTrove.com has announced the winner for its Best Chef Creation contest. The chef contest was launched to showcase TalentTrove’
Reniel Billups, a 28-year-old Detroit, Michigan resident won first prize for a pumpkin pie battered shrimp dish. The contest asked for participants to create a unique recipe using pumpkin.
With a landslide, Reniels creativity and hard work landed her the win. She began cooking at the age of nine and has not stopped since. The Jamaican native is a professional chef with experience in managing restaurants and cooking for the U.S. Coast Guard. Reniel’s ultimate goal is to obtain her own cooking show, where she can share with the world her delicious cooking style.
TalentTrove.com began offering contests on its Web site in April 2009 and new challenges are issued weekly. Only members of the free site are allowed to partake in the competitions. Money and prizes are awarded to the winner.
