At Your Service Event Staffing Ltd appoints Hugo Miller-Brown as Commercial Director

May 19, 2009 - PRLog -- Charles Smith, Managing Director and founder and Simon Weston, Deputy Managing Director, of At Your Service Event Staffing Ltd are delighted to announce the appointment of Hugo Miller-Brown as Commercial Director.

Hugo was introduced to the events industry by At Your Service in 1994 where he began working as a freelance waiter.  He was subsequently fast-tracked to become a coordinator and was an extremely valuable member of the team.

Fifteen years later Hugo has returned to his roots and the people who initially inspired him to pursue a career in the events industry.  However, Hugo has swapped his black Nehru jacket uniform and trusty waiters’ friend for a suit and a laptop.  Drawing on his experience with what can be considered some of the industry’s most influential and highly regarded organisations, Hugo seeks to consolidate At Your Service’s position as the UK and Ireland’s leading event staffing agency with a particular focus on the development of BAMBOO London, the cocktail and experiential marketing division within the organisation and SHERPA, the event crew department of the business.

Having acquired a passion for events whilst originally working with At Your Service in 1997 Hugo went on to join By Word of Mouth, one of London’s leading bespoke caterers, as an Event Organiser.  He was promoted to Operations Director in 2001.

He left By Word of Mouth and was appointed Managing Director of Seasoned Events in 2006. Amongst other tasks during his tenure with Seasoned Hugo achieved 30% sales growth, led the exciting transformation of the brand from its previous operating name and introduced ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 to the business in addition to securing several prestigious contract wins.
