The Community Foundation of Greater Butler County has responded to the economic climate by making the decision to localize their investment management team.
The Foundation recently finalized their selection for local management with INTRUST, Institutional Wealth Management. INTRUST Wealth Management provides comprehensive wealth management services, exclusively tailored to each client's unique needs. They are fully committed to offering objective, financial advice.
The Community Foundation of Greater Butler County, a 501 (c) (3), public charity, is dedicated to assisting donors in building a permanent pool of assets for the people, organizations and causes in the Greater Butler County area. Presently the Foundation manages a variety of funds including specific funds for non-profit agencies, areas of interest (i.e. arts, leadership, animal rescue, literacy), and scholarship funds.
As stewards of donor dollars it is imperative that a community foundation have confidence in their investment management team. The Community Foundation of Greater Butler County has been exploring investment support for nearly one year. “When we first started exploring a change to a local provider, our finance committee had no idea what was in store for the market” said Don Patry, Board President. While it has been a volatile six months overall, the Foundation has managed well above average. “We are even more confident in our selection of INTRUST for managing our investments as they understand the role of a community foundation. They also demonstrate a commitment to an open and supportive relationship – something we were looking for,” said Angie Baur, CEO of the Foundation.
