PRLog (Press Release) – May 17, 2009 – In the lead up to "A La Mode Part II," scheduled to take place September 18th, LGN Events have organised a selection of not to be missed fashion events, kicking off with the "Shoe Spectacular" event at the Charing Cross Hotel, London, on Friday 5 June from 7.30pm.

Hush Puppies are the official shoe sponsors for the event and are currently running a nationwide competition (www.shoeperstar.co.uk) in search of the next hot footwear designer!.

If like most women, you're likely to have a whole range of neatly stacked boxes at the back of your wardrobe with beautifully made shoes inside, lovingly wrapped and never been worn.  The 'Shoe Spectacular' party offers you the chance to wear them and strut out, as well as the opportunity to swap them.

Come along and wear the shoes that you have been waiting to wear.  Whether you are opting for statement heels or Office's finest shoe boots, Giuseppe Zanotti sandals or the YSL Cage Boots, you can stride out at this spectacular party and meet other like-minded shoe lovers.

Events director Yolande expressed "The event is a fun, entertaining event for those who love fashion, shoes and beauty. It offers guests a unique experience with lots of fun and entertainment lined up. Guests can socialise, have fun, discover new brands, swap shoes, receive make-overs, experience live music and a mini fashion show all without breaking the bank, especially during these tough economic times"

There's plenty to see and do, with a Shoe and Accessories Swap Zone, a Shoe Star Podium for those wonderful photo opportunities, a mini fashion show featuring Hush Puppies' footwear collection, live music, an exhibition area featuring exquisite shoe-based art work by Arnaud Gois and Ann Teahan, and a chill out area in place.  And if your feet are struggling with your 6 inch heels by the end of a night full of dancing, we have ImmaQulate Beauty's (www.immaqulate.co.uk)beauticians onsite to give you a foot treatment and pedicure to reenergise. Unique one-off jewellery pieces by British designer Anita Watson-Jackson (www.contemporarycraft.co.uk) will also be on display for those crucial summer purchases  

All guests will be greeted upon arrival with an exclusive goody bag. A selection of prizes will be available on the night including vouchers and free treatments. A charity auction will also take place to raise funds for the Step into My Shoes campaign (www.myshoes.org.uk ).
