Famed New York Fashion Designer, Richie Rich,
Coming to Naples, Florida for Cancer Benefit
NAPLES, FL -- May 5, 2009 - Famed New York Fashion Designer, Richie Rich, is bringing his newly launched line to Naples, Florida as part of a fashion show hosted by The Cancer Alliance of Naples. Rich’s solo line marks his return to the fashion world following his previously successful brand, Heatherette, and continues his style of hip, Hollywood chick that the celebrity set has come to love.
A fashion show, highlighting the best from his 2009 collection will feature student models from The Community School of Naples. The “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend” themed-event is being organized by Parker Borelli, a junior at the Community School, who sought out a committed partner to support such a worthy cause.
Richie Rich will be the Master of Ceremonies proudly showcasing his much acclaimed new line. Students will be modeling Rich's wearable dresses and separates for men and women as well as run the entire event.
"In times like these, it's more important than ever to band together for worthy causes, such as cancer support and research, says Richie. With the dedicated efforts of Parker and his partner, The Cancer Alliance of Naples, we hope to bring more awareness to this effort and get everyone involved. The show will take place at the Naples Beach Hotel on May 30, 2009 at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m. for a champagne reception. Tickets are $125 for VIP front row runway seating and include a VIP bag. Tickets for standard seating are $50. All proceeds from this event will benefit The Cancer Alliance of Naples, in memory of Richie's father who passed away due to his battle with Cancer.
